I enjoyed the view of the city from the park. The walk around was nice. I had to see it after seeing the NHK Taiga Drama series on the Sanada Clan.

Worth a visit as this is a very strategic castle. Lots to see and a good museum. Not much English but a very informative flyer.

I am pleased to visit this place. This place is closed to the Ueda Station, but bus service also available. Inside the castle, there is a nice and green park.

This castle was nowhere to be found. It was just an empty lot with a marker that states it used to be where the castle was. The castle towers and gates are still in place

It is not walking distant from Ueda castle, take a taxi. you will need to walk about 30 min from Shinano-kokubunji station if you take a train. It is located at the entrance of Komaki castle trail.
