Enoshima is a great place. Food is good. The walk around the island takes 3 to 4 hours, very enjoyable.

Second time to visit this place. Can't imagine visiting Kamakura without sightseeing in Enoshima! This islet is accessed through a narrow bridge (called Enoshima Bridge) from Kamakura. It was windy on our day of visit, so it seemed quite an adventure to cross this bridge;...More

After the Great Buda this is a must to visit place in Kamakura. There’s plenty of great small restaurants with local food and souvenir shops. Also, on the way to the top(were Enoshima Sea Candle is), there’s lots of temples. It was an experience that...More

There's a little bit of everything on this island: souvenir shops, restaurants, forest paths, shrines, beaches, caves, and even views of Mt. Fuji if you're lucky (which we were!). Really enjoyable day trip from Tokyo, paired with Hase-der temple in Kamakura.

Enoshima Island is a 10-15 walk from Katase Enoshima station on the Odakyu Train Line. The whole train side is so enjoyable as it provides a scenic view of the cost and kinda old school. The walk is pretty much fool proof to Enoshima Island,...More

It was a warm Sunday afternoon of March, so the weather was with us. We first walk along the beach Kugenuma Kaigan, and then went to visit Enoshima. There was a astounding view on Mount Fuji from the beach, with the sun going down just...More

Tattoos are generally frowned upon in Japan. However, since it is a beach and not a private spa, there will be no one to deny you entry. If you are worried, try to be discreet about it.
