You can see this beach as you cross the Benten bridge to Enoshima island. Not many people here but good enough to take a walk to enjoy the sea air.

During my stay in Fujisawa city, Kanagawa I enjoyed the sunset in the different places. Especially I loved the view from Enoshima deck each day. You are lucky if you can view the beautiful Mt. Fuji. I’m the one.

Visited the beach in mid May. Officially season hasn't started yet, so no guard, shops, etc. on the beach. Enough people sun bathing, and dipping into the ocean. A few people were surfing/wind surfing. Perhaps some sort of classes?

The monorail and small train on the way to/from the beach were interesting. A short day trip from Tokyo. If you want to explore the beach near Tokyo, this is one of the closest options.

When compare to beaches in Croatia, Italy, Florida, this beach is very empty and that is perfect. Vers clean beach, good water, it is sandy so not for diving.

Dirty and filthy......
Too much trash lying all over the beach, no coast guards available after 6 pm.

Summer time is the best time to enjoy this beach. Easily accessible by car or train. Many beach restaurants to choose from. Swimming, Stand up paddle boarding, wind surfing with Enoshima Island as a nice background. Pick an open spot in the sand, lay down and enjoy some sun!

I walked to Enoshima Shrine and took two escalators to the top of Enoshima. Then I looked out over Enoshima Coast from Miami Beach Square in the Samuel Cocking Garden, which was open to the public for free. The coastline was beautiful and the view was great. I recommend the view from Miami Beach Square.
