Museum Park Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Natural History was a more interesting facility than I expected. There was a wide range of exhibits on natural science in general, from tiny bacteria to the vast universe, and it took me a long time to look at everything carefully. The annual pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase, and can be purchased for about twice the price of admission to a special exhibition, so I regretted not buying an annual pass.

The Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Natural History is a museum that both adults and children can enjoy. It's packed with content!! First of all, it's called the "Natural History Museum," but it should also include "science." This is because, if you look closely, you'll see that the exhibits are based on scientific evidence and are quite in-depth. In that sense, even adults can logically find it interesting. On the other hand, there are outdoor nature plazas and fun dinosaur exhibits, so children can enjoy themselves with their parents. It's a nice place. I thought that perhaps, from the perspective of both children and adults, it may be more comprehensive than the National Museum of Nature and Science in Ueno. That's how well-made the Museum Park Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Natural History was. I recommend it.

Great place for a day trip! The grounds are large, and the exhibits are beautiful! The museum is large enough that even though there are many children, it is still possible to find a space where you can enjoy the vistas with your friend / significant other. Affordable as well, would definitely recommend to my friends.

Good ride for those who enjoy history, human history, the evolution of species on the Jurassic era, in short, a good outing for the family.

The museum has a wide range of exhibits, from plants and animals to space, so anyone who loves natural sciences can spend a whole day here. There is also a restaurant on-site.

I went to the Dinosaurs vs. Mammals exhibition. I thought the content was very substantial.
I have a few questions.
1. In a commercially available document,
on the back cover there is a section about the evolution of dinosaurs and mammals, and it says that many groups became extinct along the way. What was the reason for this extinction? In particular, only Homo sapiens survived among humans, while Neanderthals and others became extinct. What is the reason for this?
There are cold-blooded and warm-blooded animals, but at what point are cold-blooded and at what point are warm-blooded?
