We visited this museum after seeing a poster at the Sakura rail station, and were pleasantly surprised to see the attractive building and grounds, not to mention the nice collection of mainly 20th century European and American art.

We enjoyed the floral art display in May. We are not great lovers of modern art which this museum does have. We really enjoyed walking the grounds and getting a sorbert at the cafe.
