Our first visit on Sunday July 15th. Arrived just before 11.30 a.m., no problems parking but then there was World Cup football and Wimbledon on television. Car park is £4.50, not £6.50 as someone else claims - free for National Trust members. Glorious sunny day....More

Entry is single file so take ages on. Nice weather day. Also rubble on the beach used to protect dubes has projecting bits of metal. Otherwise lovely walks exploring the dunes and woods. Dogs welcome every day all year.

I often drive to Formby to walk my dogs. Lovely quiet and clean place. Please keep it this way and if you or your dogs make a mess pick it up. Plenty of bins around at the car park.
