A very hectic walk to the very bottom and a very tough walk back up ! However, it was all worth it even jumping into the freezing water.

Lovely spot to get some peace & quiet. Nature reserve is tranquil. Walk down OK, uphill strenuous. Small cafe at top with shaded seating area & clean toilets. Road up very picturesque - good view point halfway. Take the SP route to pazzolo arecia after- great village (see other review)

It's not easy getting there - hard on the knees going down and hard on the highs coming back up, but absolutely worth the effort. Series of river pools and small waterfalls with something for everyone, paddling, swimming, plunge pools for diving into. Look out for the crabs...

Great nature escape to enjoy for a couple of hours or even more. You have to walk down for 45 minutes (and up) but it really worth the visit! Take some food and water with you...

It's a bit of the ride up the hill to get to the top but what a view. There is swimming water pools located at the middle of mountain. Hiking shoes strongly advised. It took us around 1 hour to get down the hill and 1.5 to get back up. All age groups are welcome. We seen families doing it... More

The place is just stunning, amazing views. The gorges looks perfect. But.... Yes always a but... Access is forbidden due to boulder fall risk... So the gate to the gorge is locked. 2 options... Go down at your own risk or drive back...

It was beautifull to see. The only bad thing was there were a lot of flies, don't know why. The walk down was easy in 30 minutes, we walked back up in 35 minutes but then you have to be really fit. Normally it takes 1 hour back up.

It took us 50 mins down and the same up. It is doable with any shoes but please take trainers if you have them- it will be so much easier. We probably went after hours approx 16 o clock, the gate was closed, but you can go around it - other people were doing that too. down there we found... More

Fantastic outdoor activity away from over-crowded beaches. Do not under-estimate the walk back. Even athletic 15 yr old struggled, mainly due to the heat. Water, shoes/trainers and camera essential. There is nothing at the bottom of the gorge!! Go early... Oh, don't be put off by the fact that the gate down is padlocked. Life in Sicily does not stop... More

It takes you 20' steep downhill to get to the natural pools and 40' back up. You need to be a bit in good condition though.
