The first time I went to crystal pools was not a very busy hike. Over the years it became quite popular for obvious reasons and it then required bookings and fees to help with conservation. Make sure it is open and book well in advance...More

WOW factor in the extreme! From the moment we stepped onto the path we loved every minute. Perfect hike for a morning outing - the pools are so clear and invigorating. We even coerced a robin to eat crumbs from our hand at the second...More

I've hiked so many places in Cape Town and around, and I would say that this is probably the best hike around. It has great views of the sea (on the driver over and under the bridge), beautiful waterfalls, and amazing pools to swim in....More
