Hidden up at the top of the hill the ruins are easily accessible with a carpark up the top, or enjoy the walk up from the bottom car park.

The best thing about this for us was the hike up the hill and the view from the top of the village. It's worth going but just don't expect too much history or actual castle.

Beautiful rural town with mountains as the surrounding backdrop. The walk up to the ruins is through beautiful cypress forest, just a km or so out of town.
