We chose the half day tour via TUI that cost £120 for the two of us. Not particularly good value but it was a fairly comfortable drive to the reserve. Once there it was a quick comfort break and then clamber into the back of what looked like an ex military Renault truck. They pack them in and it was definitely cramped. The guide commandeered two of the seats with the most space but was very knowledgeable. He talked in French and English which did mean a few waits but was keen for us to see all that was available and to keep us interested. Glad we went, but this is not what I would consider a real safari and more of on a par with West Midlands Safari Park but hotter. Due to the cramped seating, if you were not in a ‘window’ seat (no windows) it was awkward to get good pictures, the guide would take your camera/phone and take some for you, or of you. Slick operation with minimal hanging about and friendly staff.

We did this tour only as a couple, plus the guide of course. We were able to admire and photograph all the animals up close, certainly helped by the chosen time. The reserve is large and well maintained, there are many people working there and especially the animals live in total freedom.
In our case the price has risen due to the fact that there were only 2, and maybe for a ride of an hour it may seem excessive. Looking at the prices for cars with 6 or 8 people the price seems more correct.

A very good day out. It was expensive as we had no friends to help us fill a vehicle. This was good however, as we ended up with a private tour with a great guide that spoke English.
We saw loads of animals. We’re talking giraffes, a rhino, zebras and a whole load of other four leggy bois. The first time we had done any sort of safari, and it was really enjoyable.
There are card machines, but they are not very reliable. Definitely worth bringing cash. A good gift shop at the end with lots of wood for purchase. Restaurant was shut at dinner time, but we had a lovely pint looking at the crocodiles.
Could do with more penguins.

The reserve itself is interesting, however the duration of the walk was not even an hour, the guide hardly spoke. Apart from telling us the gestation period and the name of the animal, we had to ask questions to find out a little more. It’s very expensive for the service offering. The souvenir shop sells very expensively and has no change when paying with cash. We saw a few animals, that’s a bonus!

Unfortunately the first image you see are earth turtles in an enclosure , the second and that pity are still hyenas in a small enclosure they say they are very dangerous but if you make a reservation with only herbivores for milks you bring hyenas?? Hyenas are scavengers and if there are no predators they can feed them as they are doing or just make them a much bigger space than terrain they have to bore!
