It was well worth the effort to travel out to this beautiful spot. Classically beautiful photographs of quintessential Chinese fishing village, stretched along the coast surrounding the bay. Some of my favourite Qinzhou photo shots were taken here. If the weather isn't rough they can even take you out in a small fishing boat to see the famed white dolphins... More

It was not so easy to get in Sanniang Wan. I had a train from Nanning tot Qinzhou, a motorbike taxi to the bus station, where I took a bus to Sanniang Wan. You come then at the entrance of a protected area park, where you have to pay 30 RMB. Then you can take again a motorbike taxi to... More

Sanniang Bay has old wooden boats, a charming fishing village, with nice people, cheap food, and dolphin watching trips; it is not a fancy beach resort.
