We visited for about 3 hours. The formal gardens are stunning with excellent colours in the borders. The woodland and stroll around the lakes was really different. Swans with babies on the lake. These areas were really peaceful. Afterwards we had a really good lunch....More

Hi yes you can access the café without paying to view the house and gardens but make sure you check opening times as there may be reduced opening hours in the winter months. Enjoy
