A peaceful sanctuary to meditate and pray. You don't only commune with God but also with nature Albeit going there is an uphill climb with rough and rugged roads, but once you get there, it's all worth it!

We visited the church recently for Visita Iglesia, arrived early so we waited for an hour. The church opens at 7AM. There's a P20 environment fee collected on our way to the church and an entrance fee P30 at the gate. The church was small but you will feel the solemnity and serenity of the area. We didn't explore the... More

Some parts were dirty road so make sure to you bring a good sturdy vehicle. A bit small but it's still beautiful. Can only fit a number of people inside. Get ready to walk before reaching it, pathway was worth it. For visitors, entrance fee Php30.

We went here more than 10x already (some are for leisure, some are for visita iglesia and 1 time for my brother's wedding). The chapel itself is a bit small so expect that the grounds are busy during Sunday and Visita Iglesias. Parking is small and majority of which are along the road prior to the entrance. There are koi... More

The place is a Catholic retreat, wedding amd other events venue with a parish church. The environment is peaceful, with a couple of venues to choose from. Though the place is crowded as it became a tourist attraction, the church entrance is closed whenever there is an event going on. Parking is provided outside and inside of the premises.

This is the 3rd time ive visited the place. The road is still bumpy going to the church. We visited on a Sunday, hence too many people were there. Too crowded in the church area. The picnic area, hanging bridge and koi pond are good alternative to check out aside from the church. Many uphill trek, might be a challenge... More

Extremely serene and the gardens beautiful. Perfect for retreats or some quiet time. The church is beautiful and the nice cool weather is perfect for strolling the gardens

My Mom officially recovered from her cancer this January. As a way to celebrate, we went to Calruega Church so she can get fresh air and unwind with our family. The place was solemn despite the number of people there. The air was indeed fresh and the cool breeze did my Mom good. Even my 3 year old daughter enjoyed... More
