We walked along the Spey after dinner (at the Copper Dog) and stumbled across the Telford Bridge. It's a little bit of engineering history tucked away where most would miss it. We especially enjoyed walking along the river Spey near the bridge

This is a pretty setting and a lovely view of the River Spey. If you are into Thomas Telford and/or historic architecture, it's a good stop. Otherwise, it isn't worth a special trip to Craigellachie, but if your already there or passing thru it is...More

Not sure how you write a review for a bridge. It is one of those attractions that is better looking from a distance than from close up. The best picture is obtained from the nearby road bridge.

So worth a visit. Trying to get your head around the fact that people drived lorries around the tight curve after the bridge is staggering. The views from there are worth the millage. Also close by you have the Highlander Inn and the Craigellachie Hotel....More
