“More of an oil reserve than beach”

The beach is in a very bad condition. Oil spills from ships have been deposited on the banks making it very slippery and hard to walk on. If you ever decide to walk here make sure you are wearing the cheapest and your oldest slippers not even shoes because you'll end up throwing them after walking here.

Visited this beach last week. It is not a very popular beach so its quiet and has no vendors, water sports etc. If you want peace and quiet, this is the beach to go to. When we visited, there was just 1 more family and a tonga - no one else. We strolled on the beach for some time and headed back. This beach was a welcome change from the normal beaches which are generally very crowded.

Secluded beach

Serene beach in Alibaug

This is an excellent beach tucked away in Alibaug, very quiet and serene, not crowded and no vendors selling anything unlike the other beaches where people are in your face. I highly recommend getting here early morning with sunrise and enjoying the breeze

Pristine isolated and clean beach. About 5 km from Nirmal cottages. A must visit for families to spend quiet time with themselves and nature.

Nice beach to watch those quiet calm sunsets. Could see the high rise Colaba buildings in clear view.

A beachful experience!

This is a quiet beach, I went there with my family. The best part about this beach is that it is at an amazing 20 minutes distance from Mandwa Jetty. You can visit this beach and then catch the next catamaran and come back to Mumbai. It is really a serene beach with good vegetation and dense suru ban.

The sand is silver and water is clean. You can enjoy it for a quiet outing. Food is not available, but you can halt and eat at local restaurants.

Best if you want to enjoy thoroughly... no water sports , but cool with clean and non rocky ground , wirh less populated

Beautiful Beach

I went to Awas Beach. Awas Beach is a beautiful stretch of golden sands lined with casuarina and suru trees. The village adjacent to the beach houses some beautiful resorts which are frequented by families and couples alike. It is great place to go.

Awas beach is a secret gem of beaches around Alibaug. It is seven Kms from Mandwa. The beach is very beautiful with golden sands and lined with kasurina trees. Since it is not very much advertised, it has got less numbers of visitors.
