The colours are spectacular. What a shame that it was cloudy that day so we couldn't see a great sunset. Nevertheless, don't miss it if you are in Mui Ne.

Some may say it is a whole lot of white sand, but for me, it is a gorgeous landscape and picturesque scenery! Do not forget about the camera of yours! From here you can experience all lifestyles of Mui Ne: desert & coastal. Do not...More

WE WERE PICKPOCKETED BY PEOPLE HERE. THEY STOLE OUR PHONE AND THEN DEMANDED 5 MILLION DONG FOR IT BACK. We were minding our own business & sliding down the dunes (which is fun btw) when approached by 2 young boys - 12/15 max. They they...More

Riding up the dunes was a lot of fun in an old Toyota truck. And bouncing around the dunes was a little back breaking...but very carefree experience.

It was slightly better than the white ones, but generally the while sand dunes trip is overrated. Made to mimic the Dubai sand dune tour, it falls considerably short of the original.

This scenery didn't impress me merely the view and not as big as I imaged. Visited a bit too late, the sand ground was full of footprints.

Went there earlier morning and hoped can easily see the sunrise. Location is great for children with slides. But I did just like the chilly wind and very few people that early morning so I liked the quiet moment there. In fact, I feel this...More

The location is beautiful and a need to go. To be honest, you simply need a whole day at giving mui ne. You are able to go to just about all the attractions within 1 day. The spot around the sand dunes had been really...More

Not much thing you can do here, but it was worth seeing, the red sand is unique, climbing up to the top of the hill for nice photos..

The Red Sand Dunes are exactly the same as the White Sand Dunes just red and considerably smaller. A complete waste of my time at a time in life when I probably have little enough to waste. This is total desperation tourism. When you have...More

Is this the only place that you wish to visit? I have not seen public buses plying that route. As mentioned by other reviewers, various forms of transport including taxis are available but the most popular is the 4 hour jeep... More

No you can easily do it on your own. Renting a motorbike or one of the jeep tours is probably a the best and most affordable way. I think our tour started at 4.30 or 5.00 am.

The dunes are not that close together but not a great distance either. I saw a lot of hotels along the way coming from Phan Theit to the red dunes.
