Romilly is a traditional Norman cider production located just behind the La Cambe German military cemetery. There we produce ciders, Pommeau, Calvados and other liquors following our ancestor's guidelines. All our products are 100% pure apple juice and we work with responsible farming methods. We offer a guided tour every Wednesday 2:30 PM all year long. This tour last roughly an hour, it is free and accessible for everyone. You will walk through our orchards, our Calvados cellar and a short film about cider production available in English will be projected. Finally you will end the tour tasting our products with the producers. For groups: We are used to welcome groups/buses. Fully fluent in English we can tailor the guided tour according to your schedule, it could last an hour or just 20 minutes. We can set up those tours for groups of more than 20 people, just e-mail us or you can phone us. Our movie is available in French, English, Dutch or German.

We stopped here by accident having visited the German cemetery next to it. What a fantastic spot and what a fantastic welcome and tasting offered. We enjoyed tasting the range of cidres, pommeau, calvados, liqueur and jams and bought some of all of them!! You should definitely visit this spot as a planned trip so you don't miss it!

If you are interested in the cider typically found in the Normandy region, you must add this stop to your travels. Run by a family, they have a quaint little set up for visitors. I was somewhat limited in my experience because I was with a tour group, but still found it to be quite enjoyable. The son of the... More

This was a last minute side trip that our tour guild decided to see if they would accommodate us. And he opened his doors to 56 tourists at a moments notice and was just so friendly. We watch a short video on the Farm and making of the Cider in English. Then we had a tasting of 4 different Ciders... More

I've been here today for the first time, and certainely not for the last time. Everything taste great, from the Pommeau to the cider. Ben and his mother welcomed us warmly and we could try a wee bit of everything. It was a very pleasant tour. I highly recommand the tour (and the cider jam alsol!)

If you visit Normandy, this Cider maker should be on your list. It starts in the courtyard of a 14th century farmhouse (with 16 and 17th century additions). The family run operation is most friendly and informative. Learning about the different types of apples, and orchard layouts was interesting, along with the tour of the buildings where the cider is... More

What a wonderful visit to this farm! We tasted some excellent products here and brought home the Calvados as well as the brut cider and a few other things. Too bad we cannot get them here in the States

My wife and I visited the distillery finding it just by luck. We did not take the tour but did the tasting. This was the first time I had Calvados. We were limited because we spoke little French and the lady spoke very little English, but we managed. I purchase a couple of bottles, which I enjoyed the rest of... More

hey, this is one great place to see when you're around Omaha beach and La Cambe. Say hi to incredibly friendly golden retriever when you go to get one of the best Calvados in the area. Stay away from the plums in calvados, as they ALL ARE RESERVED only for true appraisers of incredible taste they deliver. Incredible stuff. My... More
