Avoid the shorter road and take this one through Salem. Its broad, safe and gives you amazing views. You can wait on the way many times for photographs. On a pleasant day, its a treat!

Is a nice and easy way to see coffee states if you do not have friend who owned them or to lazy to walk around. You just need to be prudent because is narrow road, and now is fashion to speed around the loop road.

We visited this place almost 1 month back. As it was summer season, climate was not much great. And our purpose was to ride and to feel the hair pins. Route taken : Bangalore-Hosur-Dharmapauri-Yerkaud. On the way there are many coffee farms and scenic routes to enjoy. And there are plenty of resorts on the way. At the top there... More

A lovely scenic drive of 32 kms with 20 hair pin bends. If you enjoy driving and don't get motion sickness then this is a fun road to travel on. We got the opportunity to travel on it 4 times and we enjoyed it every time. The traffic was light and so there wasn't much overtaking or honking. We could... More

I would recommend visitors not to miss the drive along loop road. It is 32KM long and the road conditions are perfect (no potholes mostly). You can take the road on the way to “Servarayan temple” (take the left at the Y junction on the way to Servarayan temple) and you can exit the loop road at the lake junction.... More

Yercaud as a city has very little to offer a tourist and the city centre around the lake is quite dirty This road trip came as a pleasant surprise and is a must do. We throughly enjoyed the winding roads that offered amazing view of the coffee plantation all around

20 hair pin bends, very scenic. Pay extra care while driving since the road narrows down in many places, plus when I went, they were some road work going on.
