We visited the Faraglioni on Sunday afternoon. Although the village is picturesque and the Faraglioni themselves quite the sight, I would recommend visiting the promenade during the week, since the Catanese populate the whole area and it becomes quite busy and noisy

I've been there Yesterday. They are very nice to be seen. And very interesting: the White part is the original sea rock, which has been pushed up by eruptions. Pass there and spend half an hour!

There is a bus running from Catania to Aci Trezza via Aci Castello around once per hour. I stayed in a hotel beteen Catania and Aci Trezza and often caught it. Look at the website of the Catania bus company. Unfortunately... More
