This is a historic house and is different site altogether from Hemingford Grey House (a residential conference center).

Went here for lunch to-day with 40 other foodies and we were not disappointed. The food was tasty, fresh and presented well. The staff, all young but efficient and friendly . Well worth a visit.

The topiary and gardens we lovely and we were lucky to see the Irises in full bloom on June 1st. Very convenient to A14 and lunch in the Axe and Compass in Hemmingford Abbot made a lovely outing.

Can't speak highly enough of this fabulous piece of heaven! The irises were at their very best, roses, herbaceous, aquatic plants all perfectly set. The staff could not have been more helpful. Many many thanks, we will be back!
