Wow :)

We discussed a lot to go or not go to this place, 'cause the entrance costs 15 eur, but luckily we decided to go. We loved it! What a fantastic place, lots of to see. The only... read more

It seemed a rather gorgeous place, and we were going to buy tickets and look around. The grounds alone looked spectacular. Better still, there was a cafe at the entrance which was the perfect way to start the tour. We thought. There was one man serving at the bar who was somewhat less than welcoming. He grunted and nodded in... More

We visited La Granja on a Wednesday afternoon as local crafts; dancing and a horse show were advertised. Also tastings of local produce were included in the entrance fee. The entrance fee was 15 Euros each with no reduction for senior citizens. We were very disappointed with what we received for such a large entrance fee. As we entered the... More

We discussed a lot to go or not go to this place, 'cause the entrance costs 15 eur, but luckily we decided to go. We loved it! What a fantastic place, lots of to see. The only thing we didn't like was the attitude of the staff. I told to one of the ladies working in La granja, that this... More

Off the beaten track - but well worth a visit. The old estate house is furnished in traditional style, and has a wealth of artefacts relating to estate life in the 18th and 19th century (including a large array of torture instruments). The estate was self-sufficient, so there is a foundry, cloth-making facilities, a perfumerie and other interesting crafts. The... More

If you want to go back in time with a wonderful trip to am old working farm. Tour around the stately home, the beautiful gardens and there are even animals too. A great day out for all the family/ They have their own restaurant, a cafeteria and a shop at the end(Although the latter is a little pricey) 5 stars... More

Even though I visited during the winter season and there weren't many visitors not staff members, it was great. Such an interesting place that offers an insight into the way of life of past times. The buildings and the gardens are beautiful. Had a very nice day there.

La Granja really shows you very well the history of ancient craftsmanship very well. But don't forget to take the leaflet at the entrance, small piece of paper but sadly enough practically the only info you will get. Place itself is very nice, staff is friendly too, you can taste some local specialties, and see examples of ancient craftsmanship from... More

Interesting step back in time of Mallorcan life. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours out of the heat of the day.

Visited here as part of a shore trip from a cruise. Taken back in time to see how life was in the Majorca of many years ago. The house is now a museum with many interesting artefacts, pleasant gardens to walk around. There is local produce you can try which is delicious. although we visited in August it was not... More

We stepped back in time as we wandered through this beautiful old 'manor type' house. A very different experience to English stately homes but equally captivating. We saw how and where the owner's and servants lived and worked....we were in for a few surprises too! Beautiful, interesting house and wonderful grounds to walk around. We finished off the tour with... More
