The village of Bec - Hellouin is a gem and rightly vaunted as one of France's prettiest. We arrived and were luckily able to park near the abbey in what is a relatively small car park. There was no charge and one was almost immediately...More

The village of Le Bec-Hellouin is one of the prettiest villages we have seen for a long time with gorgeous colourful cottages, a few eateries and this abbey which is amazing. We didn't pay for the tour but just wandered around taking in the architecture...More

I walked on the former railroad which has been turned into a motorized vehicle free road in the woods and enjoyed a peaceful time before arriving to the village of Le Bec Hellouin. The bell tower is amazing even though I couldn’t get in. A...More

Lovely old buildings in a village around since the middle ages. A tour would be recommended as the buildings can only be seen from the outside otherwise.
