You should travel by motorbike here to conveniently explore the nearby tourist attractions. Vinh Hy Bay is amazing with unspoiled scenes and you can easily see the ancient holy place in the mountains in Phan Rang.

The beach is beautiful. Particularly at sunrise. But just like I am not willing to die if a STD, I am not willing to die for a swim. The sting is like being burned with a torch and sliced by a machete at the same time.
The venom injected through the skin by the microscopic stingers loaded with toxins, can cause anaphylaxis and death. I was lucky. The water is warm and there are no warning signs.
Anyone going in should have a wetsuit or, do like many Vietnamese, who go in fully closed. Contrary to the belief that this is to protect their skin from darkening, it is to protect their lives!

This is a beautiful place to see the real Vietnamese fishing culture. Na Trang is a better place for going to the beach, but if you wanna see some culture go to Phan Rang. I think in a couple of years it’s the same as Nha Trang, because they are building big resorts a long side the coast. Not much choises in hotels, but pure was fine.

It is a vacation, but a lot of the family lives in Phan Rang. Nice low key vietnamese city that is not all about tourism. (Yet)

Really enjoyed swimming at this beach outside our Hotel, especially at high tide when the water was lapping the swing seat that the hotel had set up on the beach.

Very great spot if you like kitesurfing. It's easy to access it as it's the main city beach. It has a plenty of space for launching your kite. Wind is strong for the most part of the year, water seems quite clean and you can also catch some waves. There are a few fishnets in the water, however you can easily see them as they all have floats attached. The view from this beach is amazing, especially during sunset.

I had a good time visiting Phan Rang and enjoyed the beach for swimming and people watching. There were several families flying kites and food vendors along the walk above the beach.

One of the best beaches in Vietnam, highly recommended.

The beach is great to relax, you can have a long walk and you’ll not see many other tourists.
In the middle of the bay there is some kind of local food/fishermen market, we went there twice for mussels, shrimps and Chao (local fishsoup). It’s quite cheap, tasty & fresh.

A great beach, frequented mostly in the early morning by locals. The sand is brownish and VERY fine, which results in a slightly muddy look of the water. So don't expect the white sand/turquoise water tropical paradise look of your travel catalog. But the water is perfect even in January. There are two resorts scattered on Phan Rang beach while numerous fabulous dine-on-the-beach seafood places can be found on neighbouring Ninh Chu beach.
