There's a lot of structures and history to this site besides the theatre. All of this has the same aim - as a centre for wellbeing of body and soul, probably the first holistic wellbeing centre ever.

This is a great place, here the ancient medicine was practiced with oracles an also is the birthplace of modern medicine, the history of this place is fascinating, I really recommend this place

Whilst visiting the amphitheatre it is well worth visiting the rest of the site , it is well laid out and flat , there is a well marked path with plenty of information points , the sanctuary of Asklepios is one such

Large area, a lot of things to see. Good narrative boards, nice museum. If you have time you can easily spend the entire day here. The theater is a must-see.
