A pleasant stroll up through the town after a wine testing at Roche Castamagna led us to the plaza with terrific views over Barolo vineyards Many interesting sculptures.

While we were there this time, the plaza was closed off for construction. Not sure how long that will take. We've been there before and it does have a beautiful view.

This area is closed for a major renovation. Your best place to enjoy the view is from the top of the tower. It is an easy climb on wide, sturdy stairs, and the view is the same.

Now there are work in progress on the square but you can reach a view point. If it's sunny and windy, you are an happy man because you have a magnificient view. Hills, vineyards, farms, churchs, mountains and hills. Go and see

The vista atop La Morra is spectacular. You can't imagine that the area has so many vineyards! We were here in the winter and it was still beautiful!
