Take a guided tour of the estate that belonged to Duke Alexander Chavchavadze to see the home and gardens. He founded the bottling of Georgian wine in the early 1800s and the neighboring Radisson Collection hotel was the site of the winery operation.

If you visit Telavi, i is a good idea to come here. The villa, park and winery are situatet near the main road, the guiding service was excelent and history of this place is very similar like history of all country.

The gardens were beautiful and once we could get a tour in English it was very interesting but it was a challenge having to talk to the head guide in German to get a tour in English.
