this is the longest dam in srilanka. it is 4 km length and it was built in more than 40 years ago. sometimes wild elephants comes close to the dam to eat some fruites from thepeople.

It's very big and you'll see it on the road to Udawalawe . I can't imagine why anyone would wish to visit it.

Something to view for tourists to Udawalawe, this great collection of freshwater. On the other side, the locals enjoy a bath in the flowing river among the rocks. Popular with locals
