A local restaurant owner suggested strongly that we seem out the war cemetery. We are glad we did. It is a simple and moving tribute to the fallen from the Malayan, Indian and British/Australian forces who served in WW2.

These two cemeteries are well maintained. There is some information provided on the signs just outside. Worth a look on your way up Bukit Larut

It was a very nostalgic visit to the war cemetery to look at the names of all the fallen heroes who gave their lives in the defense of our country. A visit recommended for the younger generation as it will be a walk down history.

Easy to find as it is on the way to Bukit Larut. Not enough promotion or info available. Lack of parking is also a hindrance.

Very well kept war cemetery that commemorates the British military fallen. A very respectful place to remember.

The casualties of wasteful conflict are buried in this beautifully kept cemetery just outside Taiping. Soldiers and airmen of several nationalities and religions are buried here.

A well tended War Cemetery that is worth a look around. The graves relate to Allied troops, killed during the Second World War, mostly in the Malayan campaign. A high proportion of the graves relate to unidentified men, which makes it more poignant.

And remember the dead heroes buried here in Taping many miles from their original homes. A lovely location despite the fact that a road cuts through the middle of the cemetery. All well laid out and very well kept - to the exact standards of...More
