We stopped here not long after arriving to the island. The view is amazing, reminds me of Ireland for sure. If it's cloudy, wait! We discovered during our visit to the Azores, that the clouds can move very quickly. If it appears at all that...More

If you've got a clear, sunny day, make a stop at this viewpoint. It's awesome seeing the patchwork of fields, leading all the way to Angra do Heroismo, Monte Brasil and the ocean.

We spent a day with a guide touring the island and ended up at Serra do Cume as the grand finale. Spectacular - what a beautiful island.

It is a windy drive up the island to get to this point, but it is really beautiful up here. From here you get a whole new perspective on island life and it makes for great photos.

It is a nice view and you can get there by car. It is pretty windy though, so watch out! Very nice insight on Terceira.

First point to take note is: follow the GPS and ignore the sign saying is army facility, if you see that sign.. you are in the correct place and you should go in.

The view from Serra do Cume is beautiful! You can see out upon the fields, with their rows of volcanic rocks separating them, cows peacefully eating grass. You can also see the ocean in the distance. It's a stunning view!
