During our short stay in Reykjavik we couldn't book into the Blue Lagoon without paying rediculous prices for an early morning or late night slot (£79pp!) so our Airbnb host recommended this one instead as part of a days trip out to see Akranes lighthouse...More

This place was perfect. The pools, labeled with their different temperatures, warmed by hot springs and cooled with glacier water, under the open Icelandic sky were otherworldly. We particularly liked the pool with the sloped bottom, designed for lying down. One pool overlooked the mountainside....More

As a local, I found this place to be so very overpriced it stunned me. This is not a spa, just some hot pots in a nice setting. You can get these pots in our local swimming pools. I am fine with having spent the...More

Although the setting and view were pleasant, we were not impressed. The dressing/showered rooms were not designed very well. Union entrance there were plenty of shoe shelves but nowhere to sit down and remove your shoes without walking into the clean area. Because of the...More

After doing the Blue Lagoon and the Secret Lagoon, this one was a bit of a let down. The view is cool. The hot pots give you some variety in temperature. But they were VERY crowded with all tourists. Families and buses crowded. I never...More

Wonderful experience. It was so relaxing and I loved soaking, especially when it was raining outside. The cold tub was awesome also. Do not miss this if you can make it. Totally worth it. Fruit water and great shower products (shampoo, conditioner and body wash).

When I was there, I sow one girl. However, there is not much fun for kid there. Municipal pull costs much less and would be more fun for children.
