This large, recreational lake is great for renting an electric boat, kayaking and admiring the Seattle skyline. The new South Lake Union Park is open and easily accessible from downtown by Streetcar.

Really like this area. Lots of nice walks and interesting things to see. Particularly liked the Wooden Boat Museum and watching the sea planes taking off and landing. Easy to get to by streetcar from downtowm for $2

We started a sightseeing cruise at Lake Union. It was a very nice day so the lake was busy with a variety of recreational activities and sea planes. It's a beautiful area and well worth the visit.

We rode the Duck Ride out on the lake. We had a close look at the house boats that lined the shore of the lake, Also saw the old gas works! The city sky line was very effective from the water to the land.

Pleasant well kept park with plenty of water activities available. Nice quiet place to walk around away from the traffic. Coffee shops and eating places nearby.

great place to get out on the water for a couple of hours - fairly easy paddle but there were much larger boats out & about - had to watch out for wave action

I really don't know, but I would recommend a small boat as the lake isn't really anything to see. You may want to check photos of the area (lake union) out, online before taking the time and paying $ for a tour, if one is... More
