Enter Central Park and check out the path around the reservoir. It's about a mile and a third around, so a nice walk but plenty of places to enter and exit so you're not committed to the whole trek. A must see in cherry blossom time (late April, early May--it varies). The view

When you're going for a walk you pass here. It just happens to be that Jackie O had a great love of the city and nature. She spent many years in NY as an editor. I would not consider this a historical landmark.
