Great place to wander - so many sights, sounds, smells and tastes to enjoy! Go during the week during the day for less of a crowd.

It had been suggested to us to visit this place combined with walking the Highline. It was further away than I realised. Not convinced it was worth the walk except for the excellent coffee and cherry pie at the cafe called Sarabeths I think. Still...More

We strolled through Chelsea Market on a mission to try the gelato at L'Arte Del Gelato which we had been told was a must do! The Gelato was excellent, by the way! BUT Chelsea Market was clean, indoors and FUN! Lots and lots of interesting...More

This place came recommended as a place to see so we walked through it very slowly as it was packed. Lots of interesting stores, some nicely decorated with spooky Halloween decorations. Nice place to begin the High Line walk.

We had already been to Essex Market and found this a bit too posh and lacking authenticity by comparison. We visited a Spanish market further down the High Line which was much more interesting. Great Halloween decorations though.

brownstones, and one of New York’s newest and most
popular attractions, Chelsea is one of the city’s
jewels when it comes to neighbourhood life. The

neighbourhood’s identity, with gallery openings almost
every night of the week and countless exhibits to

The shops aren't open as late. The building itself is open and is gorgeous.
