I love coming to Old Town when we're in San Diego. Lots of great Mexican restaurants, interesting shops, and you can learn a lot. Check out the cemetery and Cafe Coyote when you are there.

Nice area and some good museums and restaurants but all those small shops selling scraps destroy the charm and atmosphere. A few buildings are worth to see but many not.

Went for authentic Mexican meal and what NOT disappointed at the coyote cafe. Then walked around. Pleasant area with lots of history and boardwalk.
