Beautiful beach with a popular jumping rock. As my son was diving off, there was a proposal happening at the top of the rock, that’s how pretty it is. Only tough part is the parking. There’s currently construction around the area, the parking lot isn’t...More

With a rock in the middle, allows a natural jumping ramp. The water is very good and super transparent. The problem is when the parking is complete, once that there's no second option. A must see and be in North Shore.

Checked out a few beaches on the North Shore, and this was one of our favourites. Really spacious beach with nice blue water. Even on a rainy and cloudy day, the beach was still pretty.

We had a lovely afternoon at the beach. The water was so blue and beautiful and the sand was soft and fine. Beach is wide and deep. You'll see a lot of smaller fish swimming in the water with you. Parking could be difficult, although...More

Our family enjoyed this beach so much and would return over and over again. The day we went it was beautiful, calm and clear and we saw many small fish in the clear water. My husband, son, sister in law and son's friend all jumped...More

Beautiful beach in September...but wild and rough in the winter months. Worth a trip anytime! Great view of St. Peter and Paul's church and the Waimea Valley behind the beach...

Went late in afternoon. Still plenty of room on beach. Not much room for parking. Watching cliff diving was enjoyable. Water for snorkeling was clear enough to see bottom well - no fish seen. Very nice for swimming or sunning. Nice restrooms and shower (outside).

We enjoyed our visit to this north shore beach. The parking lot is small so arrive early or prepare to park across the street for a fee (it's worth it). The beach was not very crowded which was a huge plus. The sand is soft,...More

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Oahu. The beach was so big and uncrowded in the morning. It was so relaxing and fun to watch people jump off the rock. We found parking around 9am, but it will fill up. Water...More

Hi Jerry. We stayed at the Turtle Bay Resort. The snorkel gear is free for guest. You can rent snorkel gear in Pupukea. The is a small area of food trucks and rental shops.

It really depends. Usually it is still too risky even with small waves due to currents. If you are a very good surfer or athlete in swimming you could manage maybe. Always check to forecast/Magic Seaweed conditions. So... More

Sorry Tuttle bay is not that close by to Waimea but they have a lot going on I saw more pedestrians that bicycles and you definitely need to be able to lock it up when you stop Enjoy!
