Nice to walk around the harbour, boats and statues to see as you go. The harbour is overlooked by Lews Castle which is easily accessed via a bridge at the far end. Lots of independent shops and cafes to take a break open route.
The harbour is interesting with many boats moored and some interesting art, We loved the herring woman, and there are also a pair of seals. The harbour also has some interesting shops, notably the Islander Shellfish shop selling some delicious products.
Our cruise ship had anchored in the harbour and we were taken ashore via a tender boat to a quay located adjacent to the ferry terminal.

Visited the harbour on a misty, wet day but the water was calm and the yachts were beautiful. Some interesting fishing boats and we saw herrings sitting on the boats watching out for their next fish.

Pretty harbour with a variation of sea going craft and yachts if anyone is interested. We experienced on a gloriously sunny day so the view was great, as I am a painter I had plenty of resource material.
