Nice to walk around the harbour, boats and statues to see as you go. The harbour is overlooked by Lews Castle which is easily accessed via a bridge at the far end. Lots of independent shops and cafes to take a break open route.

Excellent views of Lews Castle and harbour. A relaxing place to take pictures, and stroll around the monuments and shops. Good public toilets, restaurants and other amenities nearby.

The harbour is interesting with many boats moored and some interesting art, We loved the herring woman, and there are also a pair of seals. The harbour also has some interesting shops, notably the Islander Shellfish shop selling some delicious products.

Visited the harbour on a misty, wet day but the water was calm and the yachts were beautiful. Some interesting fishing boats and we saw herrings sitting on the boats watching out for their next fish. Some nice cafes and restaurants nearby so definitely worth...More

Pretty harbour with a variation of sea going craft and yachts if anyone is interested. We experienced on a gloriously sunny day so the view was great, as I am a painter I had plenty of resource material.
