We climbed all the way up to the top and the view was breathtaking. If climbing is a problem then you may have to wait it out, there are no seats on the landings to rest. Gift shop is full of information about the island.

I would give yourself about an hour give or take a little, depending on how long you want to spend reading the information along the way and taking photos and enjoying the view on the top of the Lighthouse.
