Evidently this church WAS circular at one time and has been rebuilt in a partial circular design. We did not go inside the church but spent about an hour walking in the old cemetery. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the area.

Nice surprise tucked away. Very historical graves as you wind your way around the graveyard. The old magnolia in the back left is awesome for pictures.

Circular Congregational Church is very unique because of its shape. The structure of the building has several cylindrical parts creating the roundness. The cemetery is interesting as well. When on Meeting Street go check it out.

We saw this church on our Carriage tour and we had go back and see it up close! So cool looking and the graveyard by it is very old. A must on your tour of downtown.

We worshiped here while on vacation in Charleston. The service was spiritual- the sermon gave us something to think about later. They offered a tour of the historic graveyard, which we found interesting.

I went on a Haunted graveyard tour with some friends. We visited this graveyard. We learned some historical facts about the church and heard some scary tales that may or may not be true. Fun times!

We walked through the graveyard surrounding the Circular Congregational Church inspecting the various headstones. It is rewarding to see a collaboration between the infamous architectural college and the church to refurbish the decaying headstones. Some of the headstones date back to the early 1800s while...More

If they are there, yes, but it's not open to tour the way others are in town.
