The view is stupendous, the building interesting, and the parking horrid. To see all the main points along the gorge you really need to go via a guided tour bus that has preferred parking. The docents were informative and funny. The building was well maintained....More

First stop on a self guided day trip through the Columbia River Gorge loop with my wife. Totally fogged in when we arrived, but we enjoyed talking to the staff at the Vista House, meeting other travelers who had trip suggestions, touring the little museum...More

This is a lovely park with wonderful views of the Columbia river. This is well worth a visit if you are in the area and are vitiating the attractions along state highway 30.

It took us about 30 minutes to drive from Portland to Crown Point on a Saturday morning before visiting Multnomah Falls afterwards. It was definitely worth visiting for the scenic view of the Columbia River Gorge. Be sure to go inside Vista House to see...More

This State Park along the Columbia River is spectacular to drive through! We visited the Vista House which was closed due to wind conditions, but the views just driving along were so pretty!!!

We've been going to Crown Point for many years and it never disappoints. There are almost always a great many people, and the parking is limited, but you can find a place most of the time if you're patient, and willing to walk uphill a...More

Along with Columbia River scenic highways, this is a great place to visit. The Crown Point Vista House offers great views over Columbia River. This was the last stop for my group after visiting Bonneville Hatchery, Lock and Dam and Multnomah Falls.

There were none when I was there. Because of the wind factor - I suspect they don't offer them. But you could call them to be certain.
