As name suggests it is a palace with 55 windows and one of the master piece of architecture of n the existance. Being at bhaktapur you can see the history of architecture.

The best bit of the 55 Window Palace is the outside. Hence, if you’re short of time I wouldn’t recommend taking the time to go inside although there are a couple of nice old paintings. - There’s not much else inside.

This is such a lovely building which is presently propped up with timber poles due to the damage done by the earthquake. The wooden carvings are so beautiful too.

It's a must see if you happen to come. Nepal is not a rich country but people are kind and humble. 55 windows suffered from 2015 earthquake, there're cracks everyone can see but they're renovating and hopefully things will get better soon.
