Loved this Monastery..! it has a wonderful entrance, huge space and great history.! When we entered there we found flute and clenirate type music was going on..! The monks over there are friendly and smiling. Best thing about monastery, it was soooo colorful.

Gangtey Monestary is very beautiful site for pilgrimage and it is built on the ridge over looking Gangtey valley which is the roosting place for Black Naked Crane in winter. Worth visiting the place . Don't miss it!

Gangtey Gompa was under renovation but the main section is open for public. Enjoy the village trail on the way to Gompa.

Good monestry. Can be approached by road or by trekking. Trekking is better option. I opted trekking for return. Gave good view during trekking.
