Most of the market is full of knitted goods all locally made some being made on site. You can get anything you can think of knitted. The also have some stalls with beautifully polished local wood dishes.
This market is full of basketry made from (mostly) women from various islands. The wood workers who sell their own work in the area next to the market are very talented and yet their prices are fair. The wool products available here including hand knit blankets, sweaters, socks…
Although we visited as they were closing for New Years Eve and missed the bustle experience, it was clear that The handicrafts on sale were aimed at a non discerning tourist market . Pretty enough but nothing special. Not worth a detour
In a big building by the sea, a number of real artisans work in wool and natural fiber and wood products, with a high quality products and original and delicate design. No fake or bad products and with the chance to have a bite of sea food in “cocinerias” alrededor
A large covered collection of stalls with a variety of handcrafts, lots of chunky knits, wooden and woven items fair amount of leather goods. Stall holders don't seem to do hard sell which is refreshing.
