A very emotional visit as I returned to one of the places where I served during the Vietnam War. Some of the bunkers still exist and there are several displays of US aircraft and equipment. Peaceful, it looked entirely different than I remembered.
Although not the best museum to tell the story, the scenery and machinery on display was awesome. I’m so glad I made my way out here to see it from Hue.

While visiting teh DMZ and other battlefields in the area, this is one place to visit to see the conditions the Marine's dealt with stationed and protecting the base. Tough times for all involved at the time. A very quiet place today.
