My father went to Stanford so I wanted to take a visit. I was impressed by both its size as well as the archetecture. It's a really spread out campus so it's difficult to see it all by foot. Parking is a pretty big issue...More

I have spent few hours on the campus for a game and I was impressed by the place, all the beautiful buildings, the impression to be in one of those "elite students" or in an american University movie.

Took 1 week course there. It was just amazng. The campus is so huge. If you take the bike you can make really nice tours in less than 1 hour. To the bay or to the mountains. Both are amazing

The campus is so vast, and we really did not have time to go all around. The Memorial Church is awe inspiring, with the huge mosaics, stained glass and so much more. The Burghers of Calais Sculptures in the central area is really unique.

Stopped off at Stanford as part of a Silicon Valley Tour. Really enjoyed our walk around this fascinating campus. The tour takes approximately 1 hour but you could spend a lot longer there wondering around the Uni. I particularly loved the frat halls.

Even if you don’t have a child at Stanford, it’s worth a visit! Incredibly stunning campus to walk around. Visit the chapel, the museums and the sports hall of champions.

Amazing campus with a blend of modern and traditional architectures. Multiple conferences happens in the campus round the year. Stanford is well known for its academic excellence with ranking as one of the best universities in the world.

Much of the campus is pleasant to walk around on, except during a school term, then parking is horrendous, even by local standards. Signage all over the very large campus is also terrible, with signs appearing_after_ the streets they refer to. If one comes during...More

Don’t bother with the car. Take CalTrain from Sunnyvale to Palo Alto and walk in. So much easier. The station is literally in the campus. Once on campus, they had shuttle buses etc. Having a car is going to get... More
