This is a nice place to have a day at the beach. Go to Santa Monica pier or stay at the beach while having a cool swim on a hot day in the pacific ocean.

Had a day here and was impressed with how clean the beach was. Probably my favourite beach in the L.A area.

The Santa Monica Bay area is lovely. The beach is miles long and very wide giving beach goers plenty of space to spread out and bask in the sun.

Santa Monica Pier was free. We parked on the main shopping complex which was great and strolled over after.
