Tracking the mountain gorillas is a mystical experience. Words and adjectives cannot describe it. One must live it!

We did 2 days of trekking to find 2 different gorilla families and were able to get within 3-5 feet of these magnificent (but endangered) creatures. We recommend being explicit in advance about physical capabilities so the trekking can be tailored to fit your needs.

Yes, this information is relatively easy to find. There is a visitors center at the Volcanos Park with information.
