Like walking through every Scifi alien world movie set you've ever seen! Lots of trail options of varying lengths and several caves. Watch your kids - lava is very sharp. Easy walking/level paths in most places. Highly recommended

Parking is free and the paved paths well marked (for the most part). The lava formations are strange but beautiful. Well worth the visit.

This site has the remnants of a previous volcanic eruption with easy and harder trails around the suphuric lava deposits...one of our best sights on the holiday

What a curious place to walk around. The paths are well marked and easy enough to walk. The rock formations formed by lava are really cool to check out. I really like “The Church”, just a very cool rock formation. Plenty of parking and a...More

First off, this location has a restroom. It requires you to either buy something inside the shop (food or souvenir) or just simply pay to use it, but they do have a restroom. Now on to the hiking! The hiking here is mostly paved so...More

My second visit here, this time in autumn and that would seem like a beautiful time to see it when you have the contrast of the autumn berry bushes against the stark black lava formations.
