My husband and I love to hike in the desert and there are many trails to choose from. From short 30 minute hikes to several hours there is something here for all fitness levels. Love getting out and enjoying the beautiful Arizona scenery.

McDowell Sonoran Preserve is a nice hiking area close toi downtown Scotttsdale. It has hiking trails of various lengths and difficulties, so it is suitable for beginners as well as for serious hikers.

It is only hiking trails as well as bike and horse trails. Trail length is an option so one can take a shorter hike.
