I loved how far off the beaten path you are when you come to Estancia Harberton! You are literally at the end of the world! The place is serene with beautiful views. There is a pleasant little tea room as well as a much-better-than-expected restaurant....More

This museum is largely skeletons and photographs of larger fish and whales. The guide spoke English and it was a quirky place, with masses of fish skeletons and bones. A small team continues to clean and preserve and it was interesting to watch them at...More

There is really not much to see in this ranch but rather a gather point to take the zodiac to Martillo Is to see the penguins. It is also a lunch point where they have a cafeteria there. The museum has not much to see,...More

We travelled by catamaran for 1 1/2 hrs stopping by outcroppings to see corporate and family groups of sea lions. We were fortunate to follow to separate pairs of Humpbacks. When we arrived at Harberton we were given a choice of restaurant or Manacatush tea...More

We drove with our rental car from Ushuaia to Estancia Haberton, most part is over unpaved roads. but it is worth it. Especially when you get to the water, make sure you take a right turn forst to visit the super small town that's there....More

The Harberton restaurant was the closing item of our excursion. The beautiful view and wood-made structure are fine. The staff was just regular and we didn't like our meals. The milanese beef was super-thin and "rocky" and the fries were "toasted". Overall opinion: go 1...More

One of my days in Ushuaia was spent at Harberton. I read the book, Uttermost Part of the Earth over 20 years ago and have longed to be at this place. It was my "bucket list." I loved being there. It is quiet, serene, colorful,...More

Estancia Haberton is reachable by boat and has a good restaurant for a light meal before or after visiting the island of penguins. There is also an interesting whale museum on site. A memorable experience for all ages.

We got to this place by boat and saw sea lions, cormorants and the iconic lighthouse on the way. The place itself was interesting and charming and the restaurant serves good food. The penguin tour was fantastic - worth every minute and penny to watch...More
