We didn't imagine the view we were going to have. The drive there is long, but the landscape is unbelievable. Lunch place was just OK, bad facilities, local food is good, but service was terrible. The ventisquero negro is beyond what I have ever seen....More

Great full day trip (in our case with LS travel through Tangol) Good value, excellent guide (in Spanish and English), and wonderful scenery throughout. Beautiful views of Cerro Tronador and the Black Glacier and plenty of time to admire them.

See the black glaciers, the waterfalls. Have lunch at the base. Memorable visit, well worth the ride along the dusty road. And on the way up, see the Mascardi Lake and its emerald waters

We took a good long view of this mountain from Cerro Catedral. It stands at over 3000m and is the highest in the region. The highest part of this mountain requires some winter mountaineering skills, and unless you are experienced a local Guide. Mike
